Sr. Director - DMPK
Dr. Jayasagar is responsible for leading the Integrated drug discovery projects and standalone functional projects in DMPK for Bengaluru & Greater Noida sites of Jubilant Biosys.
He has done his Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Kakatiya University in 2002. He has over 19 years of experience in the entire gamut of DMPK function encompassing areas of in vitro, in vivo, bioanalytical and preformulation. He has been a key contributor for filing several INDs in various therapeutic areas viz., Oncology, CNS, metabolic disorders and pain for all aspects of DMPK and PKPD at various stages of Drug Discovery and development (early drug discovery to clinical Phase II).
He actively participated in the discovery and development of Synriam® an MMV partnered project with Ranbaxy for the treatment of Malaria. Published more than 20 research articles in leading international journals and additional 2 articles are in review process and presented posters at conferences and attended several international workshops.
His prior experience include Ranbaxy Laboratories; Advinus Therapeutics Pvt Ltd, Lupin Research Park (NDDD). In his last assignment he was associated with Syngene Amgen Research and Development Center (SARC) as Sr Lead Investigator.
