Saravanakumar Dhakshinamoorthy

Saravanakumar Dhakshinamoorthy (SK) serves as Senior Vice President, Head Strategy & Value Creation at Jubilant Biosys. In this role, he partners with the leadership team to drive strategic growth, innovation, and long-term value creation across the organization. His focus includes identifying emerging opportunities, advancing innovation-led partnerships, and shaping capabilities in areas such as AI/ML, TechBio, computational science, and automation to strengthen Jubilant Biosys’ position in the evolving drug discovery and CRDMO landscape.
He brings over two decades of experience spanning drug discovery, biotechnology, digital transformation, and technology-enabled R&D. Prior to rejoining Jubilant Biosys, he served as Senior Vice President and Site Head at Chemify, where he led Digital Chemistry and Automation initiatives focused on leveraging data, artificial intelligence, and automation to accelerate innovation and improve scientific productivity. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership roles at Aurigene Discovery Technologies, Curia, Jubilant Biosys, and Chemify.
He holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Anna University, completed his postdoctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, USA, and earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He also holds a Master’s degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from Madras Christian College.
