Dr. Prashant S. Naik, Business Leader, Informatics

Dr. Prashant S. Naik is a Bioinformatics Expert with 16 years of experience with various organizations including the Bioinformatics Centre, University of Pune, and Monsanto. He has a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from University of Pune. He was responsible for creation of an online virology database, which is one of the world's largest information resources on animal virus, with unique features such as online identification of animal viruses using a probabilistic approach. His areas of specialization include database integration, sequence analysis and genome annotation. He has served on various national and International scientific bodies.
