Dr. Bharat K Shah, Director - Business Development, Jubilant Drug Discovery

Dr. Shah has over 20 years of experience in the area of process R&D, manufacture of API and developing efficient processes to control cost of goods. He has completed his Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry from University of Akron, Ohio, USA and M.S. in Organic Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry from University of Bombay, India. He is a strategic thinker with excellent project management, interpersonal and business communication skills. Dr. Shah has worked effectively in multi-disciplinary team environment with a focused approach on meeting key goals. He has received Pfizer Global R&D Achievement Award for demonstrating Leadership, Teamwork and Commitment to Quality of the API portfolio during his tenure with Pfizer. Prior to joining Jubilant he was with Calyx Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Mumbai, India, overseeing business development.

At Jubilant, Dr. Shah is responsible for the Business Development function for Discovery and Chemistry services which includes selling the functional business for Jubilant Discovery as well.
